i've been too busy to update my blog for weeks! i went to thailand with an empty 2GB SD card. on my way back to hong kong, i noticed i only had room for six more photos. here are some highlights:

street food is very common in Bangkok. you can get anything from a quick snack to a full meal on the street. popular items: fish balls, fried drumsticks, squid, rice wraps, coconut, satay, pineapples, durian, etc.
dude, is that... dude... d... dude! ladyboys กะเทย, thailand's special product. the show was actually quite entertaining, they don't oversell the fact that these are guys.
tuk-tuk ตุ๊กตุ๊ก, didn't get a chance to ride one.
marriott pattaya resort and spa, nice and relaxing, provides spa service and swim-up bar that serves drinks and tasty barbeque thai porc/beef/lamb/chicken.
one of the most sacred shrines in thailand. tho many people do it, taking pictures of the buddha is regarded by most asians as disrespectful, so is pointing at the buddha with your hands or feet. as respectful as i could be, i took this picture outside of the shrine area (beyond the fences) with the buddha as the subject and not the backdrop. i might've brought myself ten years of bad luck for bringing you this photo. (:
